| Photographing weddings is only part of what I do. I also shoot stories for newspapers, magazines, and non-profit groups.
Many of the communities I've covered are either recovering from armed conflict or are still enmeshed in it. No matter how different a place is from my own home, photography allows me to connect with people and communicate their distinct experiences to others.
Over the last decade I’ve completed stories for major outlets that include TIME, The Washington Post, and United Nations partners that work on the frontlines of humanitarian emergencies.
